West African Community Missions was founded to bless the poorest of the poor. Our projects started 10 years ago, initially beginning with medical missions trips to Sierra Leone, one of the worlds poorest countries, but now partnering with communities and Catholic parishes throughout the world. We go to post-conflict, post-war, or any desperately poor community we are invited to. Our doctors and nurses, as well as building and teaching teams are 100% volunteer. Every person who travels with us to the work on our projects pays there own way and donates there time and skills and knowledge. All of the donations we receive go directly to the cost of medications, medical care and equipment, as well as to water, infrastructure building, and education programs.
We work closely with local parishes in the third world to determine which communities most need our help, and what is the best way to help the people there. We work directly with those who have never have heard the gospel message. We focus on meeting the basic needs of people, blessing them in Jesus name.
